
More people from the Ecclesiastical District of Tokyo, Japan were baptized into the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) on January 31, 2020. The district baptism was held at the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Saitama.
Newly baptized members were filled with joy and happiness as they finally received the holy baptism.
Keiji Kosugi, a newly baptized member from Gunma, Japan, expressed, “I felt I got renewed for I received the power from God. So, I’m so thankful.”
Jonathan Ampil, also a newly baptized member, stated, “I was excited. I had my devotional prayer for my baptism to take place and now that I received baptism, I am truly overwhelmed with gladness and joy. I am now a true member of the Church that is certain of salvation.”
Brother Manny Benedicto, district supervising minister, officiated the holy gathering. He taught God’s words about the importance of receiving the true baptism. He stated, “We solemnly pledge to God and promise to the Church Administration that we will all the more help and intensify the work of propagation in this part of the world so that more people will be saved on Judgment Day.” ― With reports from INC News Section
