On October 30, 2021, more people in Tokyo received holy baptism to finally become Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) members. They were the fruits of the labors of the brethren in the intensive propagation of God’s words from the previous months.

Hours before the appointed time, the baptismal candidates, together with the brethren instrumental to their conversion, arrived safely at the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Saitama.

The preaching of God’s words of the Tokyo Ecclesiastical District’s supervising minister during the baptismal service was livestreamed to the house of worship of the Iwate Congregation, where other baptismal candidates were also gathered.

In the Bible-based lesson he delivered, Brother Manny Benedicto, the district supervising minister, reminded the candidates for baptism the benefits of being a member of the true Church, greatest of which is the right to receive the promised salvation when the Day of Judgment comes.

One of those who reached, by the grace of God, their much-awaited day of baptism is Vincent Tes. “I am honored and blessed to be part of the Church Of Christ. It is very important because every single day I continue to learn and live the teachings of God so I pray to Him to help me reach my salvation,” he said.

“Many are joining the Church Of Christ despite the current situation that the world is experiencing. We continue to praise our Almighty God because the Church continues reaping victories through the leadership of the Executive Minister, Brother Eduardo Manalo,” expressed Brother Benedicto. — With reports from INC News Section
