“The baptism in our district is a manifestation of God’s help, that more people are being called into the true Church to worship and serve Him and to have the right to be saved,” said Brother Jevon Caster Zoleta, district Light of Salvation (LOS) overseer.

On March 19, 2022, the Ecclesiastical District of Valladolid, Negros Occidental conducted a baptism at the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Sto. Domingo. It was led by Brother Ricky Bayanin, assistant district supervising minister. As the result of the continuous evangelical missions and the unity of the brethren in the intensified propagational works, the baptism included converts from multiple local congregations in the district.

In his homily, Brother Bayanin encouraged the baptismal candidates to keep on striving to completely obey and live by God’s teachings written in the Bible so that they will attain salvation on Judgment Day.

Grateful to God for calling him into the one true Church, Ivander Navales, a newly baptized member, expressed, “To be among God’s people is truly a great blessing from Him. I promise to remain in the Church Of Christ.” — With reports from INC News Section
