The Iglesia Ni Cristo’s propagation work in Benguet, Philippines has continued to reap success, thanks to the Lord God. As a proof, its district in this province north of Manila once again conducted baptism of new members on April 29, 2023, the first in this year’s second quarter.

This also showed the devotion of the brethren from the Benguet Ecclesiastical District to their duty of sharing the true Christian faith to their fellowmen, according to Brother Dennis Gaña, the district Light of Salvation overseer. “Brethren are always united in fulfilling God’s will to propagate His words, so that many more people may know the proper way of serving Him,” he said.

Brother Jessy Capuno, who as supervising minister has been leading the district in all propagation efforts under the Church Administration’s guidance, officiated at the baptismal service held at the house of worship in Baguio City.

He delivered a Bible-based lesson to further underscore the right and best decision the candidates for baptism made in their lives in joining the true Church Of Christ. For, through this, he said citing scriptural verses, they would receive the hope of the promised salvation.

The district supervising minister then witnessed the candidates solemnly take their oath of membership.

“Praise be to God for allowing me to become a member of the Iglesia Ni Cristo,” enthused Lovely Balag-ey from the Local Congregation of Atok Gold after the baptism. “Herein I firmly believe I receive His pristine words, which I will uphold and the worship of Him as well. I thank Him for I’m now sure of being saved on Judgment Day.” — With reports from Clariz Hidalgo of INC News Section
