With the help of God, prospective members from various local congregations in the Ecclesiastical District of Tokyo, Japan received baptism on May 27, 2022.

Brother Manny Benedicto, district supervising minister, led the sacred gathering held at the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Saitama prior to the baptism proper. He taught the would-be members a biblical lesson on how to remain firm in their resolve as a Church member in facing various adversities in life. By doing so, they could be assured that God will grant them salvation when His beloved Son returns.

“I found the true teachings from the Bible that there’s only One true God—the Father,” explained Ian Paulo Cardenas. He was among the candidates for baptism who became full-fledged Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) members that day.

Together with the rest of the newly baptized members, Ian, with gratitude, vowed to “never forsake the worship services and will obey God’s commands until the end.” — With reports from INC News Section
