The Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) in the Surigao del Norte Ecclesiastical District in the Philippines continues to grow through the recently held baptism on the first week of September 2021.

On September 4, having completed the requirements, the candidates for baptism gathered at the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Surigao City for the final step of their joining the Church—receiving their baptism.

During the study of God’s words, the district supervising minister, Brother Roleson Remegio Jr., reiterated the lesson that to be truly counted among God’s children, they are expected to lead a life in accordance with His will. That is why they were urged to live righteously amidst the wicked world to be deemed worthy of receiving the promised salvation.

Afterwards, the prospective members took oath to fulfill God’s teachings being upheld by the Church Of Christ.

Church members in the district were grateful for they became instruments in ushering many people into the true Church by sharing the pure gospel to them. Thus, on behalf of the brethren, Brother Rue Montante Jr., district Light of Salvation (LOS) overseer, promised, “We will remain united with the Church Administration. We will not get tired of bringing many people back to God.” — With reports from INC News Section
