Embracing the biblical truth about the indispensability of the Church Of Christ for salvation, prospective members in the Ecclesiastical District of Tarlac City, Tarlac strove to be active in their services to God and overcome various trials to receive their much-awaited baptism into the Church. And with God’s help, on June 30, 2021, at the house of worship of Aguso Congregation, they were baptized and finally became full-fledged members of the one true Church Of Christ.
Following health and safety protocols, they gathered early at the venue before the appointed time of their baptism. In preparation of their immersion in water, they were taught about the qualities they must possess as a true servant of God worthy of His blessings.
Brother Ronilo delos Reyes, assistant district supervising minister, officiated the sacred gathering.
Now that she is among the chosen ones to inherit the promised salvation, Febelyn Ibañez, a newly baptized member enlisted in Laoang Congregation, said, “I will continue my steadfastness in serving God. With His help, I surpassed the hardships I have went through. And with fervent prayers, I will be able to face any trials with firm faith and hope.”
Prescilla Beltran, a deaconess from the same congregation and was instrumental in Febelyn’s conversion, promised, “We will always be united with the Church Administration in sharing our faith despite the situation of this world.” — With reports from INC News Section
