“Again, our district was gifted a new house of worship,” said Urdaneta City, Pangasinan Ecclesiastical District supervising minister, Brother Roderick Chulvo.

He was referring to that of the Moreno Group Worship Service (GWS), which was established in 2019.

On November 13, 2021, Brother Chulvo led the brethren from Moreno in the first-ever worship service they held at their new house of worship situated at Barangay Moreno, Binalonan, Pangasinan, Philippines.

“The house of worship is very important for us [Church Of Christ members] as it is where we conduct the true worship of God. Being the place where we are taught God’s words, we receive much-needed spiritual upliftment,” he added.

During the holy gathering, the district supervising minister taught from the Bible about the advantage of God’s chosen people for always obeying His commands to them, that is, that He will take care of them, provide for their needs, and most especially, save them on Judgment Day.

“With God’s help, as the brethren unite with the Church Administration in the intensive propagation of the faith, Church membership here continuously increase, which prompted the request for a GWS to be established here. Not long after, our Executive Minister, Brother Eduardo V. Manalo, approved of [the construction of a house of worship],” attested Robert Ventura Jr., deacon from Moreno GWS.

On behalf of the congregation and the entire district, Brother Chulvo said, “Praises be to God. May He help us as we treasure this house of worship. We also thank the Church Administration. We will even more be active in the faith.” — With reports from INC News Section
