On October 10, 2021, Children’s Worship Service (CWS) officers from the Local Congregation of Maliwalo, Ecclesiastical District of Tarlac City, Tarlac conducted a songwriting activity that inspired music enthusiasts to come together.

While observing health and safety protocols, the CWS officers met in small groups and worked on composing an original Iglesia Ni Cristo music. With God’s help, the CWS officers in Maliwalo were able to come up with original Christian songs they hope they can perform in upcoming Church activities.

“When I heard that the CWS officers in our local congregation will conduct such activity, I wholeheartedly participated, hoping to further develop my songwriting skills,” said Cleia Javier, CWS officer.

“We spent two weeks preparing for this activity. In the first week, we [CWS teachers and officers] talked about how to facilitate the activity. When it was finalized, we conducted our devotional prayers for a whole week,” said Clarrissa Millo, CWS teacher.

“We thank the Church Administration for allowing such activity to happen with the CWS officers in our congregation,” said Kim Vincent Pingol, the resident ministerial worker.  ― With reports from INC News Section
