Driven by their fervent desire to participate in Church activities, Buklod members or married couples from various local congregations in the Ecclesiastical District of Thailand participated in the Songs of Faith, Love, and Hope (SOFLAH) audition on September 4, 2021. In deference to the measures in place to prevent the further spread of Covid-19, the Christian Family Organizations (CFO) district leadership decided to facilitate the activity online.

The married couples who participated were from the local congregations of Bangkok, Banyai, Bangkapi, Pattaya, Patong, Phuket, among others. Having chosen ahead of time the original Iglesia Ni Cristo music they love best, they auditioned either for the solo or duet category.

A couple who auditioned for duet, Arvin and Mariel Fabico, shared: “We chose that song [Guide My Heart] because it was what we sang together during a recent CFO activity in our local congregation. This song reminds us to be prayerful no matter what happens and to always seek the guidance of our dear God. This is my first time with my husband to sing live virtually with the brethren.”

SOFLAH is an ongoing activity in the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ). It is one among the many projects that brethren can participate in. ― With reports from INC News Section
