The Local Congregation of Naga City played host to two district-wide activities geared towards fulfilling the Christian duty of giving and sharing to others, which were held one after the other on March 12, 2023.

The first activity held in the congregation’s chapel compound was the medical and dental mission that involved mainly the members of the Society of Communicators and Networkers, International (SCAN) and Christian Medical Dental and Paramedical Society (CMDPS). An estimated 600 guests availed not only of free consultation but also medicines and vitamins.

Later in the day, hundreds of guests, accompanied by the brethren who invited them, gathered inside the house of worship to listen to the preaching of God’s words. Brother Misael Dungca Jr., district supervising minister, taught the attendees that joining and remaining in the true Church Of Christ is the only way that the Bible teaches for people to benefit from God’s promised salvation on Judgment Day.

“We show our love to our fellowmen not only by providing them basic needs but most especially by preaching God’s words,” Brother Dave Lee Daniwes, district Light of Salvation overseer, said about the activities’ noble rationale. “May they learn His true teachings we in the Church uphold.”

“It’s elating to see when Church officers in our district are active in Church activities launched by the Church Administration. We do so all for God’s glory,” said Brother Dungca in an interview.

“I will continue attending evangelical missions to listen to the words of God. I will start attending the worship services in the Church Of Christ,” said Glenda Ferrer, a guest, who later on enlisted as a doctrinal instructee. — With reports from INC News Section
