The leadership of the Ecclesiastical District of Nagoya, Japan formally inaugurated the Wakayama Group Worship Service (GWS) through a worship service held on March 24, 2023.

District supervising minister, Brother Manny Benedicto, officiated at the new GWS’s initial gathering in its approved place of worship located at 359-15 Kamuro, Hashimoto, Wakayama.

In his Bible-based sermon, Brother Benedicto reminded the brethren of the importance of upholding worship services no matter what to glorify God and thus enjoy His safekeeping, among His other promised blessings.

Brethren from Wakayama used to attend worship services with the Local Congregation of Osaka. “We no longer have to travel for more than two hours just to reach the house of worship,” enthused Rossell Nishida, assistant area overseer.  She offered, and the Church Administration approved, the use of a part of her property to be their place of worship.

“I thank God for this great blessing,” said Mylene Yamamoto, also an assistant area overseer. “Having our place of worship nearer my house makes it more convenient for me as I participate in the intensive work of propagation. I will continue inviting my neighbors to attend worship services with me.”
