Church officers from the Ecclesiastical District of Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental in the Philippines received spiritual nourishment in a special gathering held on January 29, 2021.

The house of worship of the Local Congregation of Kabankalan City was one of the venues of the holy occasion to follow the prescribed safety protocols. Brother Dante Mujar, district supervising minister, preached the Lord God’s words about the concern the Lord God expects from Church officers in caring for His chosen nation.

Among the new officers who took oath during the gathering were Buklod members who have been appointed to the office of deacon, deaconess, and group overseer, whose function includes caring for and watching over the households in the Church.

“We are very thankful to our Lord God blessing us with these Church duties,” said Cynthia Buena, newly sworn-in deaconess from the Local Congregation of Naga, who took oath together with her husband. ― With reports from INC News Section
