The Ecclesiastical District of Negros Oriental, through the Christian Family Organizations (CFO) Office, recently held consecutive activities that benefited the youth members in the district. The CFO district leadership sponsored an Evacuation and Planning Seminar and the KADIWA Acquaintance activity on March 26 and 28, 2022, respectively.

In the Evacuation and Planning seminar held at the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Sibulan, both KADIWA and Binhi members attended. The seminar was streamed live to various sites in the district where the other attendees were gathered.

Jose Romel Rayoso, a Church member who is also a Fire marshal of the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), served as the resource speaker. Among the things he taught the brethren that day was how to implement a safety plan in times of emergencies, the importance of having first aid kits in every home, and familiarizing one’s self with the evacuation plan of a building or an edifice.

Meanwhile, for their acquaintance activity, KADIWA members from various local congregations in the district gathered at the Bethel Guest House in Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental, Philippines.

The KADIWA district president, Claire Ann Bohol, said, “The performances prepared by the KADIWA officers, especially the interactive games, truly gave enjoyment and happiness to all the attendees.”

Brother Troy Calimpong, the district CFO overseer, supervised both activities. The brethren are happy to have participated in the activities launched by the Church Administration. — With reports from INC News Section
