The Negros Oriental District, one of five districts in the entire Negros Island in the Philippines, conducted baptisms on July 29 and 31, 2022. The baptisms were held in the house of worship of the local congregations of Dumaguete City and Mabinay, respectively, with Brother Renato Callejo, district supervising minister, officiating at the former and Brother James Jasper Villanueva, assistant district supervising minister, at the latter.

The officiating ministers taught a Bible-based lesson that reiterated to the baptismal candidates the value of receiving the baptism in the true Church Of Christ to be worthy of receiving salvation on Judgment Day.

Walton James Tenebroso, newly baptized and now enlisted in the Dumaguete City Congregation, said, “In the Church Of Christ, I found much more beneficial knowledge, the heavenly wisdom or the words of God that will lead me to salvation.” — With reports from the INC News Section
