The Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) School For Ministers (INC-SFM) Bacolod City, Negros Occidental extension inaugurated its new building on March 31, 2023.
After the dedication of the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Victorias City, Ecclesiastical District of Bacolod City, Negros Occidental, and ordination of new ministers that were officiated by the Executive Minister, Brother Eduardo V. Manalo, the new building for ministerial students in the province officially opened its doors for use.
The ribbon-cutting of the newly inaugurated three-storey school building was led by Brother Bienvenido C. Santiago, the Church’s General Evangelist. The edifice’s marker was unveiled by Brother Arnel R. Canicosa, INC-SFM President, and was read by Brother Arnel A. Tumanan, Associate Dean for Student Affairs.
“We, the ministerial students in Bacolod City, are so grateful for we now have a school building with high quality facilities, where we can continue with our studies in the ministry,” expressed Brother Darwin John Gonzaga, third-year ministerial student.
Prior to the inauguration of the new edifice, ministerial students held their classes in various sites throughout the district, mainly in the house of worship compound of the Local Congregation of Bacolod City.
“The establishment of this school building is one of the proofs of the Church’s parades of victories. Despite the unusual events happening in the world today, God’s blessings continue flowing to the Church, through the instrumentality of Brother Eduardo Manalo,” conveyed Brother Albert Cruz, INC-SFM District Coordinator of Bacolod City.
Brother Jay Mahilum, fourth-year ministerial student, shared, “Hopefully, this will serve as an additional inspiration for many more male Church members to enter the holy ministry, as called for by God, so that many more would become helpers of the Church Administration in preaching the pristine gospel.”
Located at Lot 15 Block 3 Hermilinda Drive, Brgy. Mansilingan, Bacolod City, the newly inaugurated INC-SFM building stands adjacent to the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Mansilingan. — With reports from INC News Section
