“This special gathering, wherein many took oath as officers in the Christian Family Organizations (CFO), is our district’s response to the call of the Executive Minister, Brother Eduardo V. Manalo, as well as that of the CFO Coordinator, Brother Angelo Eraño V. Manalo, to recruit active members who would help in taking care of the brethren’s spiritual welfare,” shared Brother Marco Callo, district CFO overseer.

In the Ecclesiastical District of Carcar City, Cebu, more than 200 Church members were sworn into various offices in the Buklod, KADIWA, and Binhi organizations during a special gathering on April 7, 2023. The attendees, the already existing officers and the newly instated ones, flocked to the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Mainggit.

Before the oath-taking of the new officers, Brother Sergio Vista, district supervising minister, emphasized to all in attendance through a Bible-based lecture the importance of their God-given duties. These they must fulfill with all their might whatever the situation of life may be. Brother Vista also reminded the Church officers that, as helpers of the Church Administration, they must always be united with them in all activities especially in the CFO and the works of propagation.

Brother Herman Madayag, district edification overseer, led the oath-taking after the Bible-based homily.

Michaela Vista, from the Local Congregation of Carcar City, said, “I am thankful to God for He has entrusted me this duty as KADIWA officer. I will make as my guide the words of God taught to us, as I fulfill my holy obligations to Him.” — With reports from INC News Section
