To help in taking care of the growing membership of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) in the Ecclesiastical District of Taiwan South, more brethren were appointed as officers in the Christian Family Organizations (CFO) at the local level. They took their oath of office on August 20, 2021 during either of two special gatherings.
One gathering was held in the morning and the other in the evening, with the places of worship of the local congregations of Tainan City and of Kaohsiung City, respectively, as host sites. Both were livestreamed to designated remote sites.
The district supervising minister, Brother Roel Castillo, officiated at both gatherings. Preaching from the Holy Scriptures, he reminded the brethren of the great importance of holding duties in the Church as they remain devoted to serving the Lord God. He further exhorted them to all the more actively participate in Church activities launched by the Administration.
During the said gatherings, Church officers, old and new alike, resolved to dedicate themselves to performing the duties God entrusted to them, having been reassured they have the Lord Himself as their guide and protector.
The ecclesiastical district supervises 12 local congregations, one extension, and four Group Worship Service (GWS). The district office is situated in Kaoshiung City. — With reports from INC News Section
