Brethren from the Ecclesiastical District of Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental attended the first worship service of Retiro Extension at their newly-built barangay chapel located at Sitio Retiro, Barangay Binicuil, Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental, Philippines on September 13, 2020.

Despite the pandemic, the province, which is under Modified General Community Quarantine (MGCQ) allows religious gathering but with condition to strictly implement government health protocols. The brethren and Church officers made sure to follow all restrictions imposed, such as wearing face mask and face shield, and observing proper social distancing.

Brother Dante Mujar, district supervising minister, officiated in the worship service and preached God’s words to all attendees. He emphasized the value of not neglecting the worship services despite the many trials and difficulties the brethren experience and how blessed God’s children are for they will inherit God’s kingdom on Judgment Day.

The spiritual blessings inspired the brethren to be more diligent and active in performing their Church duties. They promised that they will always be united with the Church Administration’s aim to give glory to the Lord God. ― With reports from INC News Section
