A number of people from Lingayen, Pangasinan, Philippines and adjacent towns and a city who found the true faith, the true God, and the true Church, received baptism into the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) in February after completing the admission process beginning with doctrinal instructions.

One of them, Marvin Samia from the Local Congregation of Dagupan City, said, “I am thankful that I finally received baptism inside the Church Of Christ.” He disclosed that his former beliefs in his former religion “proved to be unbiblical when I received the pristine teachings of God taught inside the true Church Of Christ. Now I firmly believe that there is only one true God, the Father.”

He and fellow prospective members gathered at the house of worship of the Local Congregation of San Fabian on February 11, 2023, for further religious instruction, followed by the oath of membership, and finally their actual baptism.

Ecclesiastical District of Lingayen, Pangasinan supervising minister, Brother Roselito Carlos, taught them the words of God in the Bible, reminding them that “part of the true Christian’s duty is sharing the true faith to more people, primarily their loved ones.” He also emphasized the significance of being prayerful as “God promises blessings and safekeeping for His true servants, especially during their time of need.”

Another newly baptized member, Oscar Reyes from the Local Congregation of Lingayen, enthused, “This is the true Church I’ve been searching for the whole time.” — With reports from INC News Section
