
“I am thankful to our Lord God for the opportunity to receive this Church duty. I am also thankful to Brother Eduardo V. Manalo for he continues to care for us. May there be more qualified brethren who will be interested in studying to become CWS teachers,” Jether Movillon, a newly sworn in Children’s Worship Service (CWS) teacher from Binalbagan Local Congregation, enthused.
Together with other new CWS teachers in the Ecclesiastical District of Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental, Jether took his oath of office on October 24, 2021, during a special gathering at the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Kabankalan City, which was also livestreamed to three remote sites namely, the house of worship of the congregations of Sipalay, Isabela, and Bantayan. Brother Dante Mujar, district supervising minister, officiated at the sacred occasion.
Through the oath-taking, the district welcomes additional CWS teachers who will be of help to the Church Administration in shepherding the children in various local congregations in the district. The gathering was attended by CWS officers, as well as KADIWA and Binhi members.
Brother Erde Escoña, assistant district supervising minister, administered the oath-taking of the additional CWS teachers.
“I promise to dedicate myself to fulfilling my duty, I will strive to be a good example to my fellow youth in the Church. Most of all, I will help the Church Administration in caring for the young brethren,” said Iver Aguilar, a new CWS teacher from Buclao Local Congregation.
The entire province of Negros Occidental was under the General Community Quarantine (GCQ) when the activity was held. — With reports from INC News Section
