As the community quarantines are still in place to control the spread of the current pandemic, the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) continues to send relief goods to ecclesiastical districts. Church members and nonmembers benefited from the Church’s outreach activities.
Doing their part, Church officers from the Local Congregation of New Era, Ecclesiastical District of Pampanga North, helped in preparing and handing out relief goods since the month of April.
Led by their resident minister, Brother Roger Tuazon, they even made the relief packs extra special. Each bag they packed included not only canned goods and instant noodles but also vegetables and some preserved meat products, like tocino and embutido.
Recipients expressed gratitude to the Church Administration for remembering them especially in these times of need. — With reports from Jensen DG. Mañebog; photos by Aaron Tinio
