Hyvinkää, one of the cities in Finland situated in the Uusimaa region, is now home to the newest Group Worship Service (GWS) in the Ecclesiastical District of Northern Europe.

The Hyvinkää GWS, with its place of worship located at Helenenkatu 2A 19, was established less than a month after the district opened the Egersund Extension in Norway.

The new GWS’s first ever worship service, led by Brother Romeo Marquez, the district supervising minister, was held on February 13, 2022.

“We thank our Almighty God for the establishment of this Group Worship Service in one of the cities here in the country of Finland. This is very important so that the brethren will all the more be active in serving our Almighty God. Not only can they be able to worship Him but they can all the more help in spreading the words of God so that many more people will have the chance to be saved on the Day of Judgment,” Brother Marquez said.

“We are so happy that we can now have worship services here in our place because one of our important duties or obligations as members of the Church Of Christ is to always worship our Father and our Lord Jesus Christ,” Clane Kakonius, one of the brethren, said.

“We believe that the establishment and the inauguration of this Group Worship Service in this part of the world will inspire the brethren here to share their faith even more and to edify their faith through different activities inside the Church Of Christ,” Brother Fred Rigor, the resident ministerial worker, said. — With reports from INC News Section
