The Local Congregation of Nagbalagan in the Ecclesiastical District of Laoag City, Ilocos Norte, in the Philippines, recently dedicated to God its new house of worship. Brother Eugenio Corpuz Jr., district supervising minister, officiated the special worship service on December 15, 2023.

Brother Corpuz taught about the significance of the house of worship in rendering the the proper and true worship of God. This biblical truth inspired the brethren, especially the officers, to remain enthusiastically fulfilling their divine obligations.

“I firmly believe that God grants our requests when we pray and present our needs to Him, especially inside the house of worship,” said Rovelyn Guerrero, a deaconess.

“We hold devotional prayers here in the house of worship. It is our faith that God will listen to and provide for our needs,” said choir member Donna Jane Baloaloa.

The new 180-seater house of worship was built within the congregation’s existing parcel of land located in Barangay Nagbalagan, Bangui, Ilocos Norte, which is 69 kilometers away from the district office in Laoag City.

Among its features were new audio-video systems, CCTV camera system, and a Johannus organ. While the construction was going on, the brethren conducted gatherings in a temporary place of worship built nearby. — With reports from INC News Section
