Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) members take refuge in God through worship and prayer, especially that which is done inside the house of worship. And because more people are being baptized in the Church, the building of houses of worship is continuous even amid the pandemic.
On July 9, 2021, Church members from the Local Congregation of Mailum, Ecclesiastical District of Valladolid, Negros Occidental in the Philippines, attended the inaugural worship service for their newly built house of worship. It was officiated by the district supervising minister, Brother Ronaldo Canlas. He taught from the Bible how the true servants of God value the house of worship throughout their lives.
“We value the house of worship because it is very important for us. Herein we are able to bring to God our supplications. We firmly believe that He all the more listens and grants our needs when we plead of Him here,” said Joey Dionido, head deacon.
Expressing the congregation’s sentiments, Brother Nathaniel Zaragosa Jr., resident minister, said, “We thank so much the Executive Minister, Brother Eduardo V. Manalo, for granting us this new and beautiful house of worship. This is a great blessing for the brethren here, as it is [also called] a house of prayer and here we are able to conduct our primary duty, which is the true worship of God.” — With reports from INC News Section
