On June 28, 2019, the Church in British Columbia, Canada gained additional members with the holy baptism held at Burnaby Local Congregation’s house of worship.

In the gathering prior to the baptism proper, Ecclesiastical District of British Columbia supervising minister, Brother Moriel Cadacio, led the study of God’s words. He taught the candidates for baptism to always serve God and obey His commandments despite the trials in life.

Blessie Lavisores, one of the newly-baptized members, said she understood that it is by being inside the body of Christ—the Church Of Christ—that one can attain salvation and eternal life. She felt very happy that she and her fellow new members were wholeheartedly welcomed by the brethren to the Church.

Meanwhile, in the Ecclesiastical District of Southern Africa, baptisms were held on June 28-30, 2019 in four countries—Zambia, Malawi, South Africa, and Maseru.

As more people are called into the fold in this part of the world, brethren from the Southern Africa District remain united in the intensive propagation of God’s words. — With reports from INC News Section
