
New officers in the Ecclesiastical District of Ilocos Sur, Philippines were sworn into various Church duties during a special gathering of officers held at the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Narvacan on March 26, 2021.
Brother Eduardo Donato, assistant district supervising minister, officiated at the sacred occasion during which he delivered a Bible-based homily regarding the importance of Church duties.
“Special gatherings, such as this, are important because the Church officers receive God’s teachings that edify them,” Brother Donato said.
“I am joyful because despite the various things happening today, God blessed me with Church duties in our local congregation as well as in the district that I sworn in,” expressed Karylle Shine Ramos. She was sworn in as chair of the Edification and Propagation Committee of the Binhi district level and assistant leader of the technical group of the San Pedro Narvacan Local Congregation.
The Church officers vowed to continue obeying God’s words and all the more dedicate themselves in fulfilling their duties to help in strengthening the Church, all for God’s glory.
“We thank the Church Administration for their continuous concern in our spiritual welfare. We promise to continue uniting with them in upholding the intensified works of the Church,” Brother Donato added. — With reports from INC News Section
