New officers take oath in Koronadal City, South Cotabato District

In the Ecclesiastical District of Koronadal City, South Cotabato, new Church officers took their oath of office during a special gathering on October 30, 2021. After the said occasion, held at the house of worship of several local congregations, the set of officers of the Christian Family Organizations (CFO) in the district was boosted, and more brethren joined the ranks of deacons and deaconesses who will take care of the brethren.

Through videoconferencing, Brother Apolinario Seacor, the district supervising minister, officiated from the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Koronadal, which served as the main site. Other local congregations in the district including Acfaon, Bagong Lipunan, Banga, Barrio 7, Centralia, Cinco, Concepcion, Crossing Dado, Everlasting, Lamba, Lambingi, Lamian, Liberty, Morales, Naci, Norala, Poblacion, Rang-ay, Saravia, Spring Libas, Surallah, T’ Boli, Talisay, Tampakan, Tantangan, Topland, Tubi-Allah, Tupi and Danlag Extension connected via videoconferencing.

Through the Bible, he taught the brethren about the value of being dedicated and committed in fulfilling God-given duties in the Church.

“[Our district] held a special gathering and oath-taking of new Church officers in several local congregations  in the district to show our deepest concern and support to the calling of our Lord God which is constantly being taught to us by our beloved Executive Minister, Brother Eduardo V. Manalo to take care of the spiritual welfare of the brethren and edify their faith,” said Brother Seacor.

In an interview, Victorino Tobias Jr., one of those who took oath, enthused,  “I am happy to take my oath as a head deacon in our congregation [here] in Koronadal City. This is a great blessing for me and my family. I promise to help in all Church activities, especially in the intensive propagation and edification.” ― With reports from INC News Section
