Newly baptized members from the Local Congregation of Cotivo, Ecclesiastical District of Paniqui, Tarlac in the Philippines experienced a warm reception through a “Welcome, My Brethren” activity on April 4, 2021.

Prospective members were also invited to attend the activity conducted within the lot of Magday’s residence in Purok Cotivo, Barangay Cardona, Gerona, Tarlac.

“This activity aims to better acquaint old and new members in the Church, and also to help those who are in the process of joining the Church feel at home with us. We are joyful that they will be included in the proper way of serving the Lord God and in the firm hope of receiving salvation on Judgment Day,” Brother Ernesto Respicio Jr., resident ministerial worker, said.

The new and prospective members watched Iglesia Ni Cristo original music and dance performances of selected brethren.

“I am happy that despite what is happening today, I am able to attend gatherings and activities [in the Church] and I am also joyful for I am with my family in the path of receiving salvation,” Herminia Magday, a prospective member, expressed. — With reports from INC News Section
