“It’s so important for the brethren to share their faith, especially after the Holy Supper, because this is in connection with the Bible-teaching that whenever we partake of the bread and of the cup, we should proclaim the reason for the death of our Lord Jesus Christ,” explained Brother Bryan Belarmino, resident ministerial worker.

In humble obedience to this biblical command, Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) members in the Local Congregation of New Westminster in Canada eagerly participated in an evangelical mission on April 24, 2022, a day after their Holy Supper.

To accommodate the large number of expected guests, the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Burnaby, served as the venue of the activity.

Brother Almer Vargas, district secretary, taught from the Bible that joining the true Church—the Church Of Christ—is indispensable to receive the right to worship God and, most importantly, to be saved when Christ returns.

“It’s a very welcoming atmosphere. I learned a lot of information and I’m really happy,” said Kiran Barianna, one of the guests. Asked about her takeaway from the evangelical mission, she shared, “It was when the preacher talked about Christ giving up His life for the Church Of Christ. I thought that was really fascinating because I didn’t know that’s how it worked.”

“We hope that the guests who attended will continue listening to God’s words and become members of the Church Of Christ,” expressed Brother Belarmino.
