Church Of Christ members from the local congregations of  Rotorua, Taupo and Tauranga, Ecclesiastical District of New Zealand united in conducting consecutive Aid to Humanity events and evangelical missions in two venues on March 27, 2021.

Held at 244 Welcome Bay Road, Tauranga, and at Linton Park Community Centre, 16 Kamahi Place, Pukehangi, Rotorua, which are an hour-drive apart from each other, the socio-civic events were led by Brother Dennis Dahunan, district supervising minister. During the activities, he also taught the listeners the importance of being among God’s chosen people.

About the giving of aid, Brother Bryan Jayson Sorbito, minister of the gospel, said, “The Church Of Christ [will] never stop doing these activities because it is one of the commands of our Lord God, to continue to help the poor and needy of the land. It is also one of the ways of giving appreciation to our fellowmen who give their time to attend our evangelical missions.”

The guests were grateful as the brethren handed to them goodwill bags, which include not only their basic necessities but also copies of the Pasugo: God’s Message magazine. Many of them said that they were interested to know more about the Church Of Christ. — With reports from INC News Section
