The Ecclesiastical District of New Zealand established a new Group Worship Service (GWS) in Waikari, a small town in the Canterbury Region. Its inaugural worship service was held on August 16, 2020.

Completely adhering to the government’s safety protocols, the brethren were able to attend this historic gathering, which was officiated by Brother Jemuel de Belen, a minister of the gospel. In the preaching of God’s words, he encouraged the brethren to continue to fulfill their holy duties to the Lord God. Above all, the brethren and Church officers were encouraged to be all the more prayerful to God Who, amidst all hardships and worsening pandemic, rescues and saves His people who fully trust in Him. As testified by the Holy Scriptures, he emphasized that God’s promise comes true to those who devote themselves in service and prove themselves worthy of their calling into the fold.

Also in the same occasion, pioneering Church officers took their oath of office, promising their unity with the Church Administration by fulfilling their Church duties happen what may in their life. ― With reports from INC News Section
