The competition on making Iglesia Ni Cristo Music Videos in the Ecclesiastical District of New Zealand culminated in the INCMV Awards on February 14, 2021.
Members of the production team of every participating local congregation, along with Church officers and other brethren, gathered at the Imperial Palace in Auckland for the event.
The music videos, which depicted how Church Of Christ members are able to overcome challenges in life by holding on to their faith, were presented to the delight of the audience. More significantly, the songs and visuals served to remind everyone the importance of trusting in God and remaining in the holy election inside the one true Church.
District supervising minister, Brother Dennis Dahunan, led in handing the awards to those adjudged Best Story Board, and Best in Editing, which were the local congregations of Manukau, and Palmerston North, respectively.
The Auckland Local Congregation won Best INC Music Video award as well as Best Concept, Best Production Design, and Best in Cinematography.
Certificates of recognition were given to all the brethren who participated in the production of music videos and the awards ceremony. In turn, they expressed their gratefulness for the opportunity to be of help in the holy endeavors of the Church for the glory of the Lord God.
Sister Eivon Therize Dahunan, district INCMV director, lauded the brethren’s dedication and perseverance for the sake of the Lord’s work.
“It was incredible to see how far their unity pushed them. There were teams that began production as early as six in the morning; teams that finished production and editing at six in the morning,” she attested. “They all just really sacrificed their time to ensure that they succeed in their endeavor and, as they did, they didn’t realize how much it put them closer together. They enjoyed each other’s company.” — With reports from INC News Section
