On June 26, 2022, the Ecclesiastical District of Malaysia held a baptism. The newly baptized members of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) in the said district expressed their thankfulness to the Lord God for helping them reach the day they will become His faithful servants.

Vina Martinez, one of those newly baptized, said, “I am happy for I now received the true baptism inside the Church Of Christ. I promise that I will obey all of God’s commands and attend the worship services to give glory to Him.”

Brother Uziel Bongares, the assistant district supervising minister, led the gathering from the place of worship of the Local Congregation of Kuala Lumpur—three remote sites connected via videoconferencing in Singapore. In his preaching, he emphasized to the baptismal candidates the value of being called by God in the true Church Of Christ.

Right after the homily, baptismal candidates from the three remote sites proceeded to the baptismal venue. District staff Brothers Ronaldo Lising, the district supervising minister, Aldren Sotto, district edification overseer, and Bernard Bondoc, the district secretary, administer the actual baptism at Yio Chu Kang Road, Singapore.

“We are thankful to our Lord God for continuously blessing our district with more people called inside the Church Of Christ,” Brother Bongares enthused. — With reports from INC News Section
