Newly baptized, would-be members welcomed in Bogo City, Cebu

The Ecclesiastical District of Bogo City, Cebu, in the Philippines, hosted a “Welcome, My Brethren” on April 2, 2023, at the Bible Study Center in Area No. 1 of the Local Congregation of Tambongon. As the activity’s name signifies, the said event welcomed the newly baptized members of the Iglesia Ni Cristo. However, the occasion also served as a very opportune time to further introduce the Church Of Christ to those already in the process of joining the Church.

Guided by Brother Dante Mujar, district supervising minister, the district’s Christian Family Organizations (CFO) officers, Multimedia and Music Team, joint efforts in bringing to fruition this activity.

Talented brethren showcased Iglesia Ni Cristo original music through their song and dance performances.

Being among the performers, Noreen Joyce Taguiam from the Local Congregation of Bogo, said that she “felt so happy and proud. I hope that I was able to inspire everyone.”

Seeing the delight among the attendees, Brother Jacinto Sangre Jr., district edification overseer, said in an interview: “We hope that this event would help them further get along with each other, thus upholding the love of brotherhood, so that they will become more active in the Church.” — With reports from INC News Section
