Nine local congregations in the Ecclesiastical District of Sta. Rosa, Nueva Ecija spearheaded an evangelical mission at the gymnasium of the Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology-Sumacab Campus, Cabanatuan City, Philippines, on April 16, 2023.

With their collaborative efforts, members from the local congregations of Alua, Banlat, Barangka, Calaba, Calumpit, Mangga, Pulong Malaki, Pulong Munti, and San Isidro were able to bring along 450 guests.

Brother Leonilo Sayo, district Light of Salvation overseer, officiated at the evangelical mission. Teaching about God’s policy of choosing people who will serve Him, Brother Sayo emphasized using the Bible that “it is not enough to just believe in Christ. People must obey Christ’s command to enter the flock or the Church Of Christ for them to receive salvation.”

Brother Neptali Estrella, resident minister of Pulong Munti, said that “by inviting people to listen to the teachings of God upheld in the Church Of Christ, they will be enlightened with His words in leading them to salvation.”

“In response to the Church Administration’s call to further intensify the work of spreading God’s words, I invited my loved ones and friends. Fortunately, I was able to bring them to the venue of the evangelical mission,” said Enrico Garcia, head deacon in Pulong Munti.

“There were so many guests. I’m eager to learn more about the teachings this Church upholds,” said Juvelyn Padilla, guest from Alua. “One reason I accepted the brethren’s invitation is that I am curious about the Church Of Christ,” said Olive Move, another guest. “I saw how its members conduct worship; they are organized. The minister preaches only what is in the Bible,” she further remarked. — With reports from Lyndon Mar Dela Cruz of INC News Section
