The Church Of Christ, through the Ecclesiastical District of Northern Europe, maintains congregations in 14 countries including those in Scandinavia, as well as Austria and Russia.

Each of the local congregations in the district carried out an evangelical mission for the proclamation of God’s words simultaneously on April 14, 2023.

The district-wide propagation movement was spearheaded by Brother Vizar Balcita, district supervising minister, and Brother Joel Catalan, assistant district supervising minister, who preached the pure gospel at the places of worship of the local congregations of Oslo, in Norway, and Vienna West, in Austria, respectively.

The resident ministers of the rest of the congregations led the evangelical missions in their respective assignments.

Aside from the local congregations, there are 34 group worship services situated at the farther parts of the district. Members and guests of most of these GWS attended the occasion via livestreaming at the local congregation nearest to them.

“Remaining faithful to God and continuous unity with the Church Administration are proved, among other endeavors in the Church, by sharing to more people the Good News of salvation,” said Brother Balcita.

Brother Henry Philip Manguiat, resident minister at Copenhagen, Denmark, said, “Despite the current situation of this world, the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) remains enthusiastic, especially when it comes to spreading the true faith.”

Adela Stikova, a guest of the Vienna Center Local Congregation, said, “I’ve decided to undergo Bible studies on doctrines. Though [during] the first time I attended an evangelical mission I was hesitant, but now, I’m sure [of doing so]. I thought it’s time for me to look after my salvation.”

Reynaldo Espiritu, head deacon in Vienna West, was among those who was able to bring guests. “I’m motivated in this holy endeavor for this is my primary duty to invite more people to listen to God’s words. May it be His will that they, too, will be called by God inside the Church Of Christ in order to receive His promised salvation,” he said. — With reports from Richelle Liz Cerri of INC News Section
