“It is about the true Church, the Iglesia Ni Cristo; that in this Church, by continuing to follow God’s commands, I will be saved,” answered Julius Cesar Subia, now enlisted in the Local Congregation of Oslo East, Norway, when asked about a particular lesson that caught his attention to further examine about the Church.
On November 28, 2021, having pursued his membership in the Church despite the obstacles, Julius was baptized, together with other prospective members in other local congregations in various countries under the supervision of the Ecclesiastical District of Northern Europe. The baptism that day was held simultaneously in the places of worship of the local congregations of Budapest, Hungary; Helsinki, Finland; Vienna West, Austria; and Oslo East, Norway.
Prior to the baptismal proper, the candidates for baptism gathered at their respective venues to further receive biblical instructions led by their respective resident ministers. From the Bible, they were reminded of the importance of remaining members of the Church Of Christ by actively and faithfully serving God. Afterwards, they received baptism.
Valuing the privilege he received, Tamas Kassai, a newly baptized member from the Budapest, Hungary Congregation, promised, “I will renew my life. I will have to make sure that I live a life worthy of God’s blessings. So, I need to be conscious about how I conduct my life until the end.”
Brother Glen Louie Barcebal, a minister of the gospel, explained the importance of the nonstop propagation of the words of God that leads to baptism in the true Church, “We should do our very best to help out many people so that they may know the truth. And when the Day of Judgment comes, they may also have the opportunity to be counted among those who will receive salvation.” — With reports from INC News Section
