On February 26, 2022, the Ecclesiastical District of Nueva Vizcaya in the Philippines reaped the fruits of the brethren’s labors in propagating the faith as two baptisms were simultaneously held that day.

Held in the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Sto. Domingo, the baptism was officiated at by Brother Fermin Pacquiao, district supervising minister. In his Bible-based preaching, Brother Pacquiao reminded the new members of the duties they ought to wholeheartedly fulfill until the end to be saved on Judgment Day.

Meanwhile, in the Solano Congregation’s house of worship, the assistant district supervising minister, Brother Federico Ramos, led the sacred gathering. During the baptismal service, he exhorted the candidates for baptism to keep their strong relationship with God by completely obeying His words written in the Bible. By doing so, they can expect to receive His blessings, the greatest of which is the promised salvation.

Brother Pacquiao said that the brethren in the district are unhindered by the difficulties from fulfilling God’s commands because “they truly understand the importance of sharing their faith to many people and encouraging them to join the Church Of Christ for the sake of their salvation.”

“I was a devout Catholic,” said Cecille Grace Hernando, a newly baptized member, “but when I was invited to an evangelical mission, I realized that my beliefs were false.” Now enlisted in the Local Congregation of Lactawan, Cecille remarked, “Thanks be to God for calling me into the true Church.”

Erman Victor Cabaling, instrumental to Cecille’s conversion, recalled the day he introduced the Church to her and his other coworkers. “I did not hesitate to invite her and our other co-workers to listen to the words of God in an evangelical mission because they need to know the truth that would lead them to salvation.” — With reports from INC News Section
