The ministers of the gospel assigned to officiate the sacred occasion in the said local congregations were also the ones who administered the oath of the new officers. During the homily, the ministers reminded the Church officers through a Bible-based lesson that God expects them to fulfill their duties with devotion and to have genuine care for the brethren.
Luigi Castro, a newly sworn-in Binhi president from the Local Congregation of Bonfal Proper, promised, “I firmly believe that this is a blessing from our Lord God, thus, I will wholeheartedly dedicate myself in fulfilling this.”
Despite the difficulties and trials in life, the new officers vowed to do what the Lord God expects from them.
“Fulfilling [Church] duties during the pandemic is a test that we should succeed in doing to prove to our Lord God that we are loyal to Him and we will continue serving Him until the end,” said Juffel Grapiza, from the Local Congregation of Clisoc Field who took oath as district KADIWA vice president.
With God’s help, the Church officers are expected to lead the brethren in their active services and worship to God. — With reports from INC News Section
