More converts were added into the Church Of Christ in the Northern Samar Ecclesiastical District as the district held two baptisms on February 27, 2021.

The candidates for baptism, together with the brethren who helped them in their conversion, gathered at their respective houses of worship to receive the holy baptism.

The district supervising minister, Brother Elias Molejon Sr., officiated the holy occasion in the house of worship of Palapag Local Congregation while Brother Dante Bacrang, assistant district supervising minister, officiated in the Catarman Local Congregation’s house of worship.

Before their immersion into the water, the baptismal candidates received the biblical lesson about maintaining a good relationship with God by obeying all of His commands and remaining active inside the Church to receive His blessings and most of all, to attain salvation on the nearing Judgment Day.

Thankful to God for his baptism into the Church, Emilio Mendez, a new convert from Catubig Congregation, said, “Ever since I was attending Bible studies, I was convinced that this is the true religion where I can attain salvation. In the darkest moment of my life, I learned the true God to Whom I must render true services.”

Brother Erwin Daza, minister of the gospel, acknowledged the brethren who helped in converting the newly baptized members. “They actively participated in the intensive propagation despite the condition of this world.”  — With reports from INC News Section
