On November 11, 2021, members of the Binhi organization from the Ecclesiastical District of Quezon City attended an “Online Get Together” that the district Christian Family Organizations (CFO) office facilitated for them. It was part of the activities commemorating the 48th founding anniversary of their organization.

Facilitated through videoconferencing, the activity brought together Binhi members from the local congregations in the district and inspired them to carry on with their services to God.

From their homes, not only did the attendees get to virtually meet old and new friends alike, they also had the chance to engage in various interactive games.

“We had interactive games like ‘Spoken Word Poetry,’ ‘Binhi Officers Talk,’ and ‘Binhi Appreciation,’” said Aliyana Lopez, the Binhi district president from the Local Congregation of La Loma. “The activity aims to show the brethren various ways to make them happy.”

“Even in these times of difficulties, activities like this bring us fervor and strength in the faith,” said Gian Orejudos, a Binhi district officer from the Local Congregation of Amparo.

“Restrictions were imposed [by the government] on minors to safeguard their health and safety,” said Brother Paul Bryan Reyes, the district Christian Family Organizations (CFO) overseer. “[To combat stress and depression] the Church Administration launched activities, including this one wherein the youth members had time to socialize with one another. [We saw how it] brought them joy and happiness.” ― With reports from INC News Section
