Married couples from the Local Congregation of Downtown, Alberta in the Ecclesiastical District of Calgary participated in an online Buklod dinner date on February 27, 2021.
The couples excitedly decorated their homes, prepared a delicious dinner, dressed their best attire, and connected through videoconferencing to join the online activity.
Brother Rolando Gaviola, district supervising minister, led the opening remarks. He reminded the husbands and wives their respective responsibilities as taught by God’s words in the Bible. He encouraged them that, in times of difficulties and trials such as the current worldwide economic crisis, Christian couples should always support each other and seek help from the Lord God.
The district’s Christian Family Organization (CFO) leadership prepared games and video presentations that made the activity more exciting. The couples’ respective wedding photos were flashed on-screen, which served to remind them of their happy moments.
The Church Administration always finds ways to make the Christian family tight and assures that they remain steadfast in the faith. ― With reports from INC News Section
