To reach a larger audience, most especially the francophones in Canada, the Ecclesiastical District of Ottawa, which is responsible for the congregations of the Church in the Canadian capital, as well as in the provinces of Quebec, New Brunswick, and Nova Scotia, conducted an online evangelical mission on February 15, 2022. The French language was used in the preaching of God’s words.

A 2019 survey held by the Canadian government shows that in Quebec alone, French-speaking number almost 7 million (canada.ca).

Prior to the appointed time of the virtual activity, the Church members sent the link of the videoconferencing room to their prospective guests. From the safety of their homes, they were able to listen to God’s words preached by Brother Roland Andrade, the district secretary. In the evangelical mission, he taught from the Bible about the true way of attaining eternal life when Jesus Christ returns. He then encouraged the guests to further observe and examine the teachings upheld in the Church Of Christ.

“They [the guests] felt a real connection with our Lord God through His words which inspired them to keep listening to the [teachings inside the] Church Of Christ. In addition, the brethren are all the more motivated to invite their friends, relatives, colleagues, and classmates to attend our evangelical missions and Bible studies,” Brother Andrade said in an interview. — With reports from INC News Section
