Brethren all over the Ecclesiastical District of Ottawa, Canada introduced the Church Of Christ taught in the Bible to loved ones and acquaintances through a musical evangelical mission on June 20, 2021.
The propagational activity, held via videoconferencing for guests to be able to join from the safety of their homes, featured presentations of Iglesia Ni Cristo original music by selected KADIWA, Binhi, and Children’s Worship Service (CWS) members. Some doctrinal instructees and candidates for baptism took part in the performances.
Jerlie Mae Gaueni, guest of Rechie Diaz, said, “I felt happy to see the musical presentation especially the performances of the kids. I look forward to learn more about the Church and be a member of it.”
“I was excited to invite Jerlie here so she can witness the event. I’m glad to know that she enjoyed and loved it,” Rechie shared.
Brother Joselito Geron, resident minister of Montreal Congregation, said, “The musical presentation gave the attendees the encouragement to continue on searching for the truth and to continue on joining the Church. Through this activity, we are showing to the people that we are using different venues and methods just to awaken up their interest to search and learn more about the Church Of Christ.”
“Through this activity, not only the guests and prospective members were entertained, but they were also edified in their faith,” said Brother Melvin Ibañez, district Light of Salvation overseer. “It is the ardent desire of the Church Administration that all of them will be able to make it on the day of their baptism. So, we in the district, promise that we will continue to unite with their aim and purpose to further intensify the work of propagation.”
Towards the end of the activity, Brother Jose Razon II, district supervising minister, preached a Bible-based lesson inspiring the guests, prospective members, and brethren to put their hope and trust in the Almighty God.
“The message that was conveyed to the attendees, especially the guests and those who are in the process of joining the Church, was very clear to them. God uses His words to call them. It also inspires them that even during this time of pandemic, we can always count on God as long as we fulfill our obligations before Him,” said Brother Razon in an interview. — With reports from INC News Section
