Ottawa District hosts regional INCinema awards

On September 4, 2021, an INCinema Regional Awards was held for the Ecclesiastical Districts of Ottawa, Caribbean, Florida, Greater Toronto, Latin America, and Southern Ontario. The activity was held online and hosted by the Ecclesiastical District of Ottawa.
The film entries entitled “Dear Lucy,” “Lingua Franca,” “One Thirteen,” “Stay Connected,” “The Road Trip,” and “Un Ultimo Esfuerzo” reaped awards.
Awards given included Best Film, Best in Promoting Christian Values, Best Production Design, Best Film Trailer Award, Best Cinematography, and Best in Musical Score
As has been going on for years now, under the INCinema project of the Christian Family Organizations (CFO), each district has been encouraged to produce low budget films that highlight Christian values.
Brother Jose Razon II, district supervising minister of the Ecclesiastical District of Ottawa, presented the award for Best Film before his closing remarks. “We will continue to create many more activities to strengthen every Christian family. So that from the parents down to the children and even to their grandchildren, all of us may be prepared as we put our hope to the grace that soon will be ours, knowing that the day of the fulfillment of our redemption is near.” ― With reports from INC News Section
