In the month of March alone, more than 200 new members were added into the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) in the Ecclesiastical District of Bacolod City, Negros Occidental.

The new faithful received baptism on March 26, 2023 at the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Talisay City following their oath of membership after listening to further instruction and inspiration through the words of God.

Brother Ronaldo Canlas, district supervising minister, officiated at the holy occasion during which he reminded the candidates for baptism of the total obedience to the Lord God and to His will that He expects of the people He called into the true Church Of Christ.

Among the newly baptized were the couple Jeremy and Lyzelyn Gevero, from the Local Congregation of Villa Villeta. Lyzelyn shared, “After I first heard the teachings of the Iglesia Ni Cristo, I knew that these would be beneficial for me and my family. So I invited my husband, and thankfully, he came along with me to listen to the doctrinal instructions. Now, we are both baptized members of the Church.”

The Light of Salvation (LOS) Committee in the district reported that hundreds more of prospective members were being prepared for upcoming baptisms. District LOS overseer, Brother Guillermo Fajardo, said, “The brethren here in Bacolod City will not cease in participating in the intensive works of propagation, in order to prove that our district will always be one with the Executive Minister, Brother Eduardo V. Manalo, in all the endeavors he launches in the Church, all for the glory of God.” — With reports from INC News Section
