The Alaminos City National High School Quadrangle, located in Magsaysay, Alaminos, Pangasinan, Philippines, served as the venue of the evangelical mission mounted by the Ecclesiastical District of Alaminos City, Pangasinan on May 30, 2023. There, the brethren pooled efforts in bringing along more than 4,000 guests.
Brother Artemio Francisco Jr., minister of the gospel, officiated at the evangelical mission. Preaching God’s words written in the Bible, he emphasized the importance of joining the true Church, that is, the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ), for people to be saved on the nearing Judgment Day.
“We used to conduct here districtwide activities, such as fun walk, human monogram, and this evangelical mission,” shared Brother Samuel Coloma Jr., district Light of Salvation overseer. “This place once more proved to be a strategic location where not only many brethren were able to gather but with them also were many guests,” he added.
“Eager to unite with this big propagational event, many brethren willingly volunteered various forms of transport so the guests will reach the venue,” said Melchor Sayman, resident minister of the Local Congregation of Bani.
Asked what he learned after the evangelical mission, Rodel Robasto from the Local Congregation of Hundred Islands said, “It’s necessary to join the Church. That message of God is clear to me.” He is now in the process of joining the Church Of Christ.
“This work of spreading God’s words is truly important,” said Brother Jerry Madamba, assistant district supervising minister. “It is God’s will that we help people to know about the one true God, the Father. Doing so we, Church members, ensure our receiving of salvation when Judgment Day comes,” he explained. — With reports from May Morales of INC News Section
