In response to the call of the Church Administration, many brethren from the Ecclesiastical District of Tarlac decided to accept duties in their respective local congregations. After the required seminar and training, a total of 638 took their oath of office during a special gathering on October 22, 2022.

Brother Jhavern Gindoy, the assistant district supervising minister, officiated at the special gathering which was held in the house of worship of the Tarlac City Congregation.

He administered the oath taking of the new officers after delivering the homily during which he reminded the congregants of the need for the Church officers to be dedicated in fulfilling their divine duties so all of God’s elect will receive salvation.

“This is actually the third in the series of oath-taking in our district this year. Many brethren here in Tarlac City eagerly heeded the call of our Executive Minister, Brother Eduardo V. Manalo, to accept Church duties so that they can help in the edification of the brethren,” Brother Jonathan Cabrera, the district overseer of the Committee on Edification (COE), said in an interview.

Onessa Villanueva, from Local Congregation of Paraiso, was among those who took oath that day. She said that, “I am very happy because our Lord God has entrusted me to hold a duty in the Church. And I promise to fulfill it devotedly until the end.” She took her oath as an officer in the Finance department.

The Ecclesiastical District of Tarlac oversees 57 local congregations, six extensions, and one Group Worship Service (GWS). —  With reports from INC News Section
