Uniting with the entire Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) in commemorating the 104th anniversary of the Children’s Worship Service (CWS), the Ecclesiastical District of Pampanga East in the Philippines held a special gathering for CWS officers on November 12, 2022.

Apart from those gathered at the San Fernando Congregation’s house of worship, where Brother Bhel John Ubaldo, Pampanga East district supervising minister, led the gathering, other CWS officers convened in the houses of worship of Magalang and Arayat, both of which were connected via livestreaming.

In his homily, Brother Ubaldo expounded from the Holy Scriptures that officers in the CWS must be effective instruments in molding the young members of the Church towards becoming God-fearing individuals. For it to be done, he reminded the attendees that they should strive to always uphold Christian values and thereby be good examples to the children.

“We are thankful to the Lord God not only for another year of His love to the Children’s Worship Service, but also for allowing us, CWS officers, to be His instruments in guiding the children towards having the true faith,” Vannaliza Espiritu, Apalit Congregation CWS officer, said.

“We thank the Church Administration for constantly keeping watch over us, including the children inside the Church. Through this gathering, we were taught to lead a life according to God’s commands for us to effectively teach God’s words to the children in the Church,” Roldan Halili, CWS teacher from Sta. Monica Congregation, said.—With reports from INC News Section
